Story
Her very first memory... is filled with snow, terror, blood and vampires. Menaced by a vampire and saved by another, she is an orphan who has been adopted by the Chairman of a prestigious boarding school called Cross Academy.Ten years later, she has grown up a guardian of the vampire race Meet Yuki, a spirited girl who adores her saviour, the dashing vampire called Kaname. Yuki's friend, Zero, on the other hand, suffers from a bitter past and hates vampires to the core. Have the vampires truly renounced their murderous ways, or is there a darker truth behind their actions? Is Kaname's infatuation with Yuuki the beginning of a forbidden romance? Or is it something in her lost memories that draws him to her? Because in this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems, and nobody is who they say they are. And the price of misplaced faith may well be worse than death
Characters
Yuki Kurosu
She is a first year day class student and the school guardian at Cross Academy. Her family was killed by vampires when she was five years old. She since has been adopted by the Chairman and shares his ideals that not all vampires are bad. She looks up to Kaname even though he is a vampire. She also has a bit of a crush on him.
Zero Kiriyu
He is an orphan just like Yuki and was adopted by the chairman. He doesn't speak much and never mixes with the other pupils at the school. Yuki is the only one he loers his guard towards. He's parents were killed by vampires 11 years ago. He doesn't trust or rely on Kaname or the others. He holds a lot of hatred towards vampires because he is turning into one
Kaname Kuran
He is a pure-blood and the noblest of all vampires, with powers and abilities feared even by his own kind. He is the last of the Kuran clan and holds the deepest respect for the chairman's ideas. He agreeed to attend the academy so that he can be near Yuki and protect her.
Chairman Kurosu
He is the chairman of Cross Academy. He is also Zero and Yuki's guardian and assigned them to gaurd the night class and day class. He loves his "little daughter" Yuki. Kurosu believes that vampires and humans can get along and that's why he created this school
